A Day in the Life of...Me!

So here are some update of my life since I haven't been on in a while.

School: I only need 3 more classes until I get my AA in sociology which I will use to become an academic counsler. I want to help kids take school seriously and make good choices. My life would be a lot easier had I chosen to do better in school. I am applying to Cal State Long Beach and Cal State Dominguez Hills, because they are the closest, and also Cal State Fullerton.

Work: Well my last job only lasted like two weeks because he said I didn't have enough ex[experience as a waitress, yet he hired me knowing I had no experience. During our meeting he was saying that I did an awesome job and made the most tips and got the most compliments out of the whole mock service. Whatever. I am most likely, like 97% sure going to be working at Turners, which is an gun/fishing/outdoors store. Many of Joes friends work there and my friend Jen got me the job there. The only downside is it is in Pasadena, but we are going to carpool or I will take Joes car. Its still cheap with gas in his car. I will also be working no less than 36 hours which is awesome so I can save some money to pay for my many expenses and save to get a car.

Bradley: He just got a job at Micheals as a stock person so he works early in the morning lifting boxes and then goes home sleeps for a while and then goes to Coffee Bean if he works. At least its only 3 days a week otherwise he would be dead tired. His 21st birthday (woo woo) is in a month and one day and we are so excited. He wants me to take his bar hopping so we will probably go to either Fullerton or Long Beach but probably Fullerton because its cheaper. His birthday gift from me is going to Escape from Wonderland. Its a dance festival showing he haunted and creepy side of Wonderland...so not looking forward to the creepy characters. I already saw the trailer and its a no go with the little twins. We are really excited its in two weeks.

Whiskey and Irie: Our little babies...brats as usual. Whiskey is getting huge but Irie has barely even grown. We let them outside with the door open more often now because that way they don't try to escape every chance they get. They are good other than that though. They just need shots and to get fixed soon.

Joe and I: Are awesome. Almost year anniversary and we are going to San Francisco which I am STOKED about. We are going for 3 days. In December we will be going to Big Bear also. =)

Well that is all for today. Going to start getting ready for the Variety show at the lodge...kind of scared.

I haven't been on here in ages. So update of life. I have a wonderful and I mean wonderful boyfriend, who I love so much. He has done so much for me over the past 6 months and is supportive of everything I want to achieve and my lifestyle. I am going back to school this semester. I start on Monday. It has been pretty stressful though trying to transfer and get my classes I need. I have been going back and forth trying to get into two more classes that I need and it seems like they have made no progress at all. I am going back today so hopefully they will be able to put me into my 2 classes I have been waiting to get into.

I also am entering in the Cerritos teacher trac program. I will find out if I get in after the 19th of this month. I am excited to finally be so close to my career. I have lately been thinking about getting back into dance. We will see what happens.

I am now 22 years old...time flies. I had a wonderful birthday though and today I am getting a surprise night from Joe. I have been looking forward to it all week. Bradley actually did something for my birthday which I think is the first time in years. I had a lot of fun with him.

Ugh...rain straight for like 3 days already! I mean it is good and all for the earth but for me personally its not. Life...hectic to the max. Learned many lessons in less than a month. Over all the "college" activities and ready to become an adult. Need to put my life on track before I worry about others.

So midterms just ended. I got a new job at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim. I make smoothies and I really like it. I am almost done at Fullerton but I have come across a little missing piece my counselor conveniently forgot to tell me so I might ave to be there an extra semester =(. I am looking into Sacramento or my uncle offered me room and bored if I go to University of Vermont and they have a good bio department there. SO it could be a possibility.

I am also going to take referee classes so soccer season I can ref and get paid. Its a pretty cool thing to do and I have always wanted to do it.

So it didn't really seem like a summer break. After Spring semester ended I had summer school then I got out from class but still went to Fullerton in the morning to help out the basketball team. This semester I am taking Biology, philosophy, math and track classes. I already know I am going to die in track because I have not worked out in a loooooong time! Ugh.

So I did turn 21 a week ago. Nothing much happened on my birthday, but the day after I went to the casino and shopping with my grandma. It was alot of fun and defiantly made up for the day of my birthday. Tuesday I went to Disneyland with Bradley and it was super fun. I didn't really do anything else until Friday when I had a little kick back at my friends apartment. It was really fun and made my week.

So I am laying in my bed just thinking how much I miss the little ones. I miss them alot but as of right now there is no way that I can see them. It makes me sad to think of how much they are growing up and how much I am missing out on. I know Bradley misses them too but hes able to get over things quicker than I am. I haven't even gave Diego his birthday gift and my mom her mothers day gift. I will definantly have to drop those off this week.

Summer school has officially begun and a week has past. The class is so long but sometimes there is a moment where it is actually entertaining and can keep my attention. We had our first test on Thursday so Monday I will see how well I did. I am pretty sure I got an A on it though. I have been scheduling my classes for next semester and so far it looks like I will have English, math, history, biology and political science. It is going to be a difficult semester but I am on the final countdown to transferring...FINALLY! I am so happy to be leaving Fullerton. When I transfer I do plan on moving by campus with Bradley and another room mate. Luckily it isn't as expensive as Orange County so we will be able to afford a two bedroom apartment.

I guess we will see what this week brings. The weekend is going to be a relax festival. Church tomorrow and it is also Chanel's 18th birthday.

So I haven't blogged for a long time so I guess I owe an update of my life...

Well first I am out of the parents nest. I miss Siobhan, Diego, Nacho, and Cucui like crazy! I think about them all the time and I have pictures hanging in my room and I say a prayer for them every night and I check out Flikr to see them and they look so grown! It makes me cry sometimes because I miss them all so much. I miss my parents too...and I know my mom would be really suprised I would say that. haha

I am currently living with my bestie and her family but moving out in a couple months to my own place. I am still going to Fullerton College even though I already finished my G.E.Ds and I have two degrees. I went to see a counselor for my end of semester check in and found out I have been doing the wrong major for forensics. I was very irritated and so now I am working on Biology major...I was very upset. SO I am currently doing that so I will have more of a chance of getting a for sure spot in my university.

For transferring I am deciding between Cal State Long Beach and Fullerton of course. I kind of want to get away from everyone I know and go to Long Beach. I visited the campus and I really like it. Also rent is way cheaper there haha.

I am not working at Sandellas anymore. I started working at Sears Outlet in Brea about three months ago and I love it. My coworkers are super cool and we also hang out outside of the job. Saturday night we had a bonfire and it was really fun.

As for boys...ugh haha. I had a friend for a year who had a big crush on me and then I started liking him and yada yada yada. We were off and on until I decided I was done and I need something more mature. I am ready for a serious relationship and no more of this high school stuff. I have no time for drama to be added into my life and I also need a guy who understands that school and work come before anything.

I am going to be 21 in a couple months. I am excited to a certain extent. All I really want to do is buy a bottle of alcohol and go to a bar and then I think I will be over it. Danielle is planning a party for me, but I am not really feeling it. haha It makes her happy so I'll let her do it.

I will be keeping up more on my blog because I think it is a good way for me to stay sane.

First Day of school

it went well. My english class seems pretty interesting. The music class is alright. It will be a pretty much pass as long as I do all the assignments, tests and music lab hours. Three of the required assignments is to go to concerts haha two at school and one out of the school. Tomorrow I have my archaeology class and I am looking forward to it. When I pass that class I will have my anthropology A.S. degree.

So this rain would be a lot more enjoyable if it had come last week when I didn't have school. I got soaked today from walking after my class.

I also took my drivers test today and I passed! I was so happy because all I had to do was pass the class C test so I could get my M-1 and get insurance. I called out insurance agent today and I have to pay tomorrow and I will have my insurance and not pay the DMV the fine for no insurance. I can't wait until the rain stops. That is all I was thinking today.

School starts tomorrow. I was happy for it to start but now I am not so sure. I am pretty interested to see how my classes go because this semester they are pretty interesting to me. I bought my books or actually I rented them from a website called Chegg. I saved about 170 dollars. I was impressed and I planted 4 trees in Guatemala. Check it out free shipping and everything.

So this rainstorm is good for the earth because we all know we needed some rain but why couldn't it of come last week when it was supposed to come? Going to school in the rain is not very fun let me tell you. Our school is a natural dam for water. It floods the grass sucks in no water and it just builds up on the sidewalk. When you try to get out of the rain its hard because everyone heads to the cafeteria or the library. No refuge at all.

Tomorrow I take my test at the DMV. After I pass I will have to set up my insurance. I got a notice from the DMV the other week saying if I do not show proof of insurance for my scooter I will have to pay a fine. Its not like I can ride it this week anyhow with the rainstorm we currently have.

Started off on a abd note. I fell in LOVE...with a puppy. She was so beautiful and so playful. She was perfect but she adopted the day she was available. I went ot go visit her on Tuesday and she remembered me. Ic ould tell she got all happy and started barking for me to play with her...she was perfect. I found a chocolate lab that needs a loving home at the shelter. He was cute but super skinny. I want him but I know I can't have him. :(

I haven't been on for a long time. I am at my Grandmas house right now. We have just picked up the kids and they are eating thier snacks and watching Word Girl on PBS Kids. I figured why not blog since I am not doing anything.

So there are no new updates in my life really. Still working at Sandellas and having fun with that. My scooter is still under 40 miles haha I took the Motorcycle course and passed very easily. I took the permit test for the 3rd time and passed so I should have my license except for that we did not know I have to have my regular drivers license. So I am taking my drivers test this Tuesday and will hopefully have both my Class C and M1 licenses. I am so excited about riding my scooter after having it for almost a month and a half. I got a 50 dollar shell gift card from Uncle Tony and Aunt Emma and it will last me for almost more than a year most likely unless I go on some long trips. I want to start a scooter club for Orange County since there are none.

Let see...I start school on Tuesday. Taking 3 classes again. After this semester I have three more. I don't know whether to take one during the summer and only have two to take during the fall and just work full time. Oh I am also looking for a new job too.`I believe that is all for my updates.

Today I had my appointment about the cyst on my wrist. Apparently its common but mines huge haha. I am going to be scheduling the surgery probably Wednesday and I will only be in a splint thing for about 2 weeks then my wrist will be back to perfection within 6 weeks. My first surgery. I am not nervous since its not a big deal.

I want a shake. I know its random but I saw one that they sell at my work and it looked really good. Of course it is probably like 15 dollars but then I started to crave a shake. haha. Still waiting for Sandellas to start training. No one has been able to get ahold of him. Hopefully it starts soon because I want to start saving for my puppy. :) Because I am getting a black lab. If its a boy his names going to be Bruno (The bicycle thief) and a girl maybe Bella or something. I am not sure yet.

I am learning how to drive stick. Today was my first time and I only stalled two times. I have to practice giving the car enough gas because unlike my moms you barely push the gas down and it goes. We are going to find somewhere longer to practice so that I can practice putting it into second and third gear. It was pretty exciting though!

Will post what happens next time I drive it.

for my new job to start. I have no idea when training is going to start but hopefully it will be soon. I am excited about working there and it will be a great change from the Honda Center. Well this week nothing really happening in school. Had tests for all my classes on Wednesday and Thursday. I have a meeting with my moms friend at CSUF on Wednesday to just check to make sure I have everything on track for transferring. Then thats all. Work on Wednesday luckily its just tickets so I get to go home early and I work Sunday also. I need a new purse. Random fact but very true. I got our Wii working yesterday so I feel my Guitar Hero skills coming back. haha. Now Siobhan just tried to turn it on and its not working again. Ugghh.

of summer school and I am looking forward to it. My last day of geology was last week and thank the lord it is over with because I don't think I could of lasted another day in that class. English ends this week and unlike geology I actually enjoy this class.

This weekend I worked and did homework. Thats all I have been doing for the past couple of weeks. I don't work until the 14th of August but I am trying to get a new job and have some god potentials. There is a new sandwich shop opening up right by my house on Anaheim Blvd. and I am going for an interview tomorrow. There is also a new clothes store at the Brea Mall called Cutesy Girl who are hiring right now. I am in need of a new job ASAP.

was today in Geology. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. Seriously though that class is something else though. We have spent two weeks talking about sedimentary rocks. I think I am an expert now. haha. We spent like 20 minutes on volcanos and that was interesting but it was quickly over.

So today I was annoyed by my professor in Geology because he was asking about evolution and of course this girl who is a totally bible thumper starts talking smack on it so then I start arguing with her and we got into a total debate. Then my professor interrupts and says, "Anyways to get back to the subject of rocks. I have now found out we have a evolutionist that obviously knows alot about it." That wasn't bad until he kept calling me a monkey lover. Which is true but after a while it got annoying and he thought he was funny too. It wasn't.

I got my schedule for next months events and I work every Friday and Saturday all day. For some reason though on two days I am scheduled for 1AM when there is no event at that time. So I emailed my manager to see what is up with that. If its true I dont know about that.

Man, geology is a killer class. Not only do i have a research assignment due Monday I also have my first test. It should be pretty easy because it is about rocks and their cycles, volcanos, OC geology and how the earth was formed. The research assignment was finding all these old rocks where they are located, their exact age, what kind of rock it is and is it has any fossils. It was actually pretty interesting. Who knew rocks could be interesting. haha. Our class is huge too! It is filled with about 50 students. You have to get there early to get a seat you want.

My english class on the other hand is very enjoyable. The professor is hilarious and the class is always interesting. I have a rough draft of an essay about Twitter due on Monday. He explained what we were supposed to do and we get to choose what we want to write it about. I chose Twitter since I do it so I know some stuff about it. He took about 2 minutes to tell us and we all left confused about what we were supposed to do. haha. I am figuring it out though.

Only my first week of summer school done and I am tired and worn out from waking up at 5:30 to get to school early. At least I only have to do it for 5 weeks then I have a month off before fall semester.

long time no update. Well you know how life gets. You do stupid things and screw your life up then something happens and gets the smoke out of your eyes and get a good look at reality.

Life's treating me better now. I start summer school on Monday. I have a physical geology class in the morning, english after that and then finally a little running class. I am so out of shape that its not even funny. I haven't ran in almost three and a half weeks because of a little medical problem that popped up and caused me to have low levels of iron. That was the worst time of my life being tired all the time and when I would walk to my grandmas house which is not even half a mile away I would be out of breath like I just ran a mile!

I also got a job! I am going to start working at the Honda Center. I am looking forward to it alot actually. It is going to be a job that I am going to enjoy. I have orientation Wednesday and training July 1st to 4th.

Major, as in school, complications...

So after much worrying about my major and having my doubts. I decided that I am choosing between paleobiology and forensic anthropology. Its a hard decision but luckily both under anthropology division.

I also got back the results of my first biology test. I got a 74% but still have a B in the class. I didn't study that much for this one so my next one I know I need to study. I should take advantage of the student study groups my class does. I will go to the next one.

I dyed my hair black last night. I like it but my dad keeps joking and saying that I look like the angel of death.

I feel like this is the longest weekend ever. Yesterday went by so slow I thought I was going to die! I have been trying to come up with a new painting but for some reason my creative side isn't coming out. So I decided to wait until the idea comes to me instead of forcing it out.

I still haven't seen Coraline yet. I also want to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. Looks really funny.

Yes it does come out tomorrow! I am so excited because I saw the commercials and ads for it when we went to San Francisco and it looks like an awesome movie! Plus Portia really wants to see it too so I have someone to go with. We both said we would go see it with each other. I am ready to see it tomorrow but I will have to wait. OK so to keep this thing going I am going to do it.

So here are 19 facts about me:

1. I run track. Taking a break this year from running for school. I am planning on being a heptathlete when I come back.
2. Have been to a total of 4 elementary/junior high schools. La Purisima Catholic School(K-3rd), Handy Elementary (4th), Roosevelt Elementary (5-6th) and St. Norberts Catholic School (7-8th).
3. I think lacrosse is the coolest newest sport to be played in high schools and I want to learn how to play.
4. Hated and I mean HATED high school. I was a major jock but not into all the dances and stuff.
5. LOVE college! So far for sure the best time of my life.
6. Into British shows more than American shows. They are way funnier.
7. Lets see sports. Love them! Especially basketball, soccer, football and track. Don't care at all for baseball or golf.
8. I was born on an army base in Oceanside, California.
9. I really really want a puppy. Either a Shiba Inu or a black lab.
10. I have been to Spain, France and Mexico. Plan to go to Italy soon.
11. I'm afraid of moths...really afraid of them.
12. I draw...all the time and any place. Is my way for letting out all my feelings.
13. I ALWAYS get sick. I mean I always have a sore throat or stuffy nose or something. Rarely am I totally ok.
14. I have never broken any bones (knock on wood!) but I have had a stress fracture on my foot from track and ran on it...worst pain ever.
15. I Love traveling. Anywhere and anytime.
16. When I was in 6th grade Iw as obsessed with Spice Girls. I was Scary Spice of course. I wanted the high platform shoes they wore but my parents wouldn't let get them.
17. Concerts are my thing. Love going to them even if I don't know who they are. The best ones I have been to have to be Bad Religion and Ozomatli.
18. I am really good at making coffee.
19. I love San Francisco.

is so freaking interesting! You have no idea how serious I am. It might just be because my professor is awesome and teaches it so great, but I am really into this class. Diseases, skin, bones and muscles! Ahhh...one of my only classes I look forward to every week.

My other classes are going great. Learning how to manage stress in health class. So if you need any tips on deep breathing or anything let me know.

What I learned in San Francisco...

when comparing San Franciscoians to SoCalians:

When it comes to phones in San Francisco it seemed like the only people on their phones were the businessmen. I saw some people on their phones but it wasn't for 20 minutes or an hour it was for only about 5 minutes at most. Also no one and I mean no one texts. I did not see one person texting on their phone. I told my dad it must be a southern Californian thing.

Clothing and this is a big one! No furry jackets or Ugg boots, just North Face jackets, scarfs and leather boots. You could tell a tourist a mile away wearing big furry marshmallow jackets with bog old Ugg boots when it is not that cold out.

The atmosphere is just different there too. It is a little rushy there and people do walk fast but people are nice there. You can have conversations with the homeless people who are rich compared to some of the homeless that we have here. Here we are kind of afraid of homeless people thinking that each one has something wrong with them. Either they are drug addicts or crazy.

Overall I prefer the San Francisco way. I have made it my mission to move there after I finish school. I mean in SoCal we do have the sun and beaches but really I think I could go a while without that stuff.

Overview of My Trip in San Francisco

Well San Francisco was an awesome trip. Heres a little overview of what I did.

WEDNESDAY-- We left super early, 6:15 AM, to get to Long Beach Airport and then our flight was 45 minutes late. When we got to San Francisco and we were getting ready to land my head felt like it was going to explode! It hurt so bad. We took Jet Blue and it was pretty nice. I watched some TV and listened to Sirius music channels also. We took the BART, which I am now a professional at...a BART Pro to be exact, and when we got to downtown San Francisco we went to check into our little hotel, which I thought was cute because it was vintage and old, then we went to Lefty O'Douls to eat lunch. For the rest of the time we went to MacWorld got tons of free stuff, dad won an iPod Nano (whatever) and meet iJustine. Then back to Leftys for dinner where I got a big and i mean BIG enchilada with rice, bread and a slice of pie...and yes I did eat all of it and enjoyed it tremendously. After we went back to the hotel where I watched Animal Planet (watched all the time) and slept.

THURSDAY-- Skipped breakfast and took the trolley (super cool) to Fisherman's Wharf where we ate the best clam chowder in a bread bowl ever! It was so amazing and I love it! I almost got attacked by a giant seagull that wasn't even scared when I kicked my leg out, of course I wasn't actually going to kick it but I just wanted to scare it. THen we went into the Museum Mecanique which was cool. It had old game machines you could try and some was pretty funny. Then we went back to Macworld to go on the other side, but after we were done my dad stayed at Macworld and I went exploring of the city. I went into tons of shops. I went into Barneys and oh my gosh talk about feeling like you don't belong. I DID! It was terrible. They weren't mean but they just looked at me weird. Heres a list of some shops I went into Barneys, NikeTown (don't sell track spikes...whatever), Old Navy (biggest on West Coast), Levis (3 floors), Rasputin Music Store (5 floors of AWESOMENESS!) Macys (HUGE...5 big floors...it was crazy) Virgin Megastore (bought 2 shirts and apparently they have the biggest DVD selection on the West Coast) and I don't remember where else. Then I took a solo taxi ride to a thrift store I had read about but it was disappointing. Not as great as yelpers said it was. Then we had dinner at Loris 50s diner where I had fired chicken, cole slaw, fries and a strawberry malt which was so good!

FRIDAY-- Went straight to ChinaTown after we check out and had some great Dim Sum and did a little shopping for the kids and mom then went back to Market to go to the airport. Shorty and sad day. Already miss San Francisco and the weather.

We leave for San Francisco tomorrow morning and I am so excited. I am looking forward to it and I am so excited about going to Haight/Ashbury. I am in for some cool vintage shopping...hopefully cheap too! Going to get some things for my friends there too if they are in my budget. I think it is going to be a lot of fun though. I already have my bag all packed and my clothes for tomorrow laid out. I am ready to go! My dad on the other hand hasn't even packed or anything. I know.

Well I might blog from Macworld. It depends on if the lines are long and if they still have those computers. I haven't been in a while so I am not sure. We are leaving home at 6 or something. Our flight leaves at 9 something from Long Beach so we have to make sure to get there with enough time to go through the crazy security!

Man I have been in a Bad Religion mood for a couple days now and now I want to go to a concert. Not necessarily Bad Religion (but it would be better if it was) but anyone who's ticket prices are reasonable. I think I am going to look at House of Blues right now. Man that Bad Religion concert was so much fun too! Ahhh...memories.

Well San Francisco in less than a week. Planned where I wanted to go but then I found out the thrift stores are on the other side of the 101 freeway, which apparently isn't a good area to be going alone. So I am going to have to cross out the thrift stores. Its ok though because I want to go to this boutique thats on Haight Street and my dad says they sell alot of hippie things there which I am looking for so I am set. I guess I will just have more time in China Town and MacWorld.

Then school starts. I am actually not dreading the start of school. I have a pretty good schedule this semester. No track so its going to be weird for them having meets and I won't be competing. I still plan to go watch though. See how they do. I am probably going to red shirt so I have to find out all the rules and stuff because I talked to my dad about it and we have totally different views of what we think red shirting is. So I must make sure.

I have been cleaning the garage. Well one side anyways so that we can move the Nova out of the garage. Man do we have alot of junk in there. I am almost done, only been working on it for two days, on the worst side. THe other side wont take long, but then I have to clean on top and inside the car. Oh well at least I am working for my future car. I already got a hula girl for the dash. Oh yah I have it all planned out. Surf and beach thats the theme.

Well 08 was a good year for me. Did well in school and my first year of track, did lots of campaigning for Obama and he won!So I am looking forward to another year and I am going to make the best out of it for sure. Here are my goals for 2009:

1. Get more involved with Church and stuff
2. Do well in school even more
3. Still practice track... even though I am red shirting
4. Get all my units done so I can transfer after this fall
5. Take a trip with friends in the summer... probably camping

I have what has to be the worlds largest canker sore in my mouth. It is seriously triple the size that I usually get them and I have already had it for a week already. It hurts so bad and it is hard to eat. Plus I can't even sleep because it wakes me up with the pain bulging out of the side of my face. My parents find it amusing and laugh when I eat but its fine they will regret it when the whole side of my right face is swollen or it takes over my mouth and I can't breathe and have to be put on oxygen!!

So tomorrow my moms friends son is staying with us and we are going to go see Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which the kids have been talking about for a long time. I am looking forward to seeing it because it looks funny and I wanted to see it when it came out. I am going to take the kids to go see Tale of Despereaux maybe this week or I might wait until I come back from San Francisco.

While on the subject of San Francisco i have already finished my packing list and my daily schedule. Here is a little preview:

Well we finished our gifts. I think this year I gave the best gifts ever. I got an iPod! A green nano and it is so cute! I love it. I also got some sweaters to take to San Francisco and PJ's! I am so happy...plus Grandma Sue gave me some money which means ka-ching money for the trip!

I can't wait to eat the "Christmas lasagna" as my mom calls it. I love lasagna.

Well Christmas is tomorrow! Seems like this month went by really fast. School ended, last day of official track practice (redshirting this season) and now tomorrow is Christmas. I finished my shopping (bargain shopping of course) on Saturday with my grandma. It was fun.

Siobhan is sad because she didn't get me anything and I got her some stuff. I feel kind of bad because I was joking around with her because she didn't get me anything. I told her I wanted a puppy. haha

So San Francisco...aka Macworld 09...coming soon. Already making my daily schedule so I can get everything I want to do or see done. I am so ready for this trip.

After working my butt off campaigning for Obama...He won! I was so happy and I got to go to the Obama Orange County Democrats Election night party! It was so much fun and there are photos from it on my flickr...will post video later!

School is finally almost over. Had 2 finals today and my last 2 are on Thursday! Then I have almost a full month out of school. I am going to go to San Francisco in January for Macworld with my dad and am very excited about that.

Football game...

today was awful! Both UCLA and my schools. UCLA, no comment there and my school played like them tonight...fumbles and quarterback throwing it to the other team. It was AWFUL!

Phone bank was fun today! THere were about 15 to 20 people there and we were calling people from New Mexico. After we got done with those we called democrats in Orange County that had signed up on Baracks website and ask them if they wanted to volunteer. It was really fun though and I would definitely do it again.

BUT I am hoping this time next week I will be in Nevada canvassing for Obama. I sent in my information sheet to the Young Democrats and hopefully will receive something soon. It is Friday to Sunday. Seems pretty fun! :)

So last night we went to the Galaxy game and it was awesome! THey did really well for having their losing streak last so long. Donovan had a hat trick...good for him. Buddle had nothing...but its ok.

So last week of school was alright. Not too busy and wasn't being torn apart in counsel...so it was good. This week though I am not sure. As of already being in trouble for not attending the first home game for football the big B is putting all this pressure on me for this weekends game. As if I really even do anything there. I just have to get the total number of people who attend the game and do little things. I couldn't make the first game because of a previous commitment, but since she was so mad it really didn't matter. We have a game this Saturday at 6 PM and yes I am going and Danielle is coming along with me and Portia might meet us there when she gets off work. Big deal if I miss the first game.

Track is going well. Going to start high jump and throwing this week. Excited to the max. A little scared about high jump but still looking forward to it. We have our lazer tag fun day on Friday at 6. Good turn in so far. I was surprised.

So school went fine as usual. Classes still enjoyable, but this week I was really tired. I almost fell asleep in my sociology class yesterday because I was so tired.

So I am getting the idea from my coach that I am captain of the track team this season. I hope I am I mean I am already planning a get to know each other night at Camelot and we are going to play Lazer tag! I was actually surprised to see how many people were excited about going. So I am pretty happy with my choice to do that.

Going to start working on my 2nd podcast later tonight. Sunday Portia and I might go to Mainplace see a little movie and just hang out.

Yesterday I got two free tickets to see Lost 80's night at HOB Anaheim. It was fun. Portia and I went and had a blast! We got them from my twitter contact Rock Da Mullet. Pretty cool huh?

SO today I went to Cafe Contigo and surprisingly got alot of homework done. THere was a domino tourney there today so I had to sit in the back room, but it was ok. I didn't really mind. I got a coffee and was just relaxing doing my homework. No little brothers or sisters yelling and being loud. It was a nice change. I think I am going to do it more often.

Well no school Monday. Happy about that. Tons of homework due on Wednesday and I have 2 quizzes also. I am not even worried though.

I am here at Cafe Contigo and I am waiting for Portia to arrive. Going to get some GOOD coffee...unlike Starbucks haha and there is a band performing tonight at 8 a flamenco band and I am looking forward to hearing them. It only took me about 10 minutes to get here, but it felt faster because I was flying...like Olympic or Tour de France fast and I was on a roll! It was fun. I am a little sweaty though...its a workout. Well going to enjoy my time here. Will post pics of band later.

So my birthday did pass last Friday and it was super fun! Portia, Danielle and I went to the House of Blues to see a great Tribute band to U2. They were awesome and the concert was so fun. Portia and I were dancing the whole time. It was hotter than the desert in there though and we went to get some water and it was FREE! I was surprised because I didn't think it would be free especially at the House of Blues. We each got like 4 glasses. It was some good water.

Now I am 19...so old. Not really still younger than most of my friends in my class at school. They are almost 20 years old and one is 23. Yes I know.

I got my schedule today. Anthropology and Philosophy on Mondays/Wednesdays and English, Photography and Sociology on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. No school on Fridays of course. Pretty busy schedule and I have meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays at sometime for Athletics Commissioner...yes that is me! :)

So school starts on Monday. I am looking forward to it. Interesting classes and excited about our new coach who is coolio!

So yesterday I was cleaning out my turtles home and I left them on the kitchen counter so that they could get a little more sun and some fresh air. When my dad told me to put them back he had written SUSHI FOR SALE with 2 arrows pointing to my turtles. You know what? It won't come off too! So now I have a cage with big old red sharpie letters saying that pointing to my poor babies. Its so sad.

So today I got sworn in for commissioner and it was pretty cool. The whole college board was there and they were telling me what i have to do and the rules. Pretty much the same rules as Senate which I can handle and the responsibilities I can handle also. I was so excited and nervous though that I would trip or something when they called my name. I can totally picture myself doing that.

Today at practice was H-A-R-D! We had 2 300s 1 150 and stride 100. It was pretty hot today and after the 150 and the 1st 300 I wasn't feeling so well. Then after the last 300 I finally did it! Threw up...gross I know but you don't understand. I was the only one on the team last year who never threw up at any practice.

Ah the Olympics start on Friday and I am pretty excited. I might be going to HOB to see a U2 Tribute band with Portia and Danielle. It will be pretty cool! I am excited plus its only 10 bucks!

So today Bradley and I had to watch the kids and for some unknown reason, Siobhan especially was being an extra bratty today. I don't know what was with her today, but she had a bad seed in her today. Diego was fine but her...oh my gosh!

We started watching Sound of Music today. We only watched half though. You know little kids and 2 hour movies don't get along well. We also had The Hat for dinner and oh goodness those sandwiches are humongous. I only ate half and I was so stuffed! It was pretty good though.

Well I start school in 2 weeks. Kind of excited but I still want to go to the beach next week. Maybe Ill go on my bday if Portia doesn't work. That would be cool.

Well today I had a great practice. Did some sprints/distance. Coach J wants me to go tomorrow also but I have to see what we have going on. He wants to work on a little hurdle tomorrow but I don't know. My mom wants me to go because she wants me to get the printout of my classes for her. Next semester taking: Sociology 101, Philosophy 101, Photo, English Writing, and 3 track classes. It's a pretty busy load but I can handle it.

Today I scanned some old pictures of my 1st Communion and our family hiking trip. They are so adorable. My 1st communion ones I don't even remember some of my classmates names. We need a reunion. Bradley is already having a reunion for Holy Family and they haven't even graduated HS yet. St. Norbert's should have one.

Portia still wants to go on a beach trip next Tuesday. I said lets go for my bday on Friday but shes not sure because she might have to work...boo!

the earthquake today was CRAZY!!! I was standing in our dining room because Nacho was acting weird and I thought he wanted to go to the bathroom and as soon as I let him out the house ground started shaking and then swaying and I was like ooohh man! Stuff was falling down and the pictures were all crooked. We only had one thing break out of everything in our house which I thought was pretty good since we have alot of breakables. Then I went in my room...oh my goodness. My whole bookshelf had been emptied. I had to put everything back.

So today we watched this movie. Green Street Hooligans was what it was called. It was a good movie. I really liked it. Elijah Wood has some blue eyes though.

Tomorrow I have counselor meeting tomorrow. Final changes to my major. Finally going to get that done. Cross it off my list. Portia finally talked to her mom about our San Diego trip and her mom said her dad has to talk to my dad. I don't think its going to happen when we planned it though. We wanted to go next Tuesday but I don't think that is going to happen.

So practice yesterday...OMG! It was pretty hard. Sprinting is soooo much fun and I missed it for sure. I did 2 100s yesterday with many other thing s and I got 12.6 and 12.8 not to bad with no blocks and I slowed down at the end too. Tomorrow I have 300, 200, 150 and 2x100s. Got to get mentally ready for that one lol haven't ran a 300 in a LONG time!

My birthday is next week! I am going to finally be 19 lol all my friends have been 19 for a while now and I am finally going to be 19. My last teen year! Scary! My birthday means THE OLYMPICS! So excited to watch it!

We got a new puppy 2 days ago. We got him from a couple that we know that works at Cafe Contigo. He is so cute. 5 months and hes a "blue" applehead Chihuahua. A rare kind I guess. His name was Chiwi but we are going to change it. We don't know what we are going to name him yet.

So I am finally going to have my major finally changed. I have to talk to my counselor next week and then it will be done. School starts in less than a month and I register for my classes tomorrow. I am pretty excited about this semester. Interesting new classes that I have no idea what they are about, but have people that have taken them or know them to help me.

We had a track meeting on Wednesday and we already have a fundraiser on Sunday...pretty soon huh? Well we are going to Universal Studios for the show "Moment of Truth". Never saw it, but some people said its a good show. Its going to be all day Sunday. We leave school at 9:30 AM then are supposed to be back at 6 PM. Not sure yet if I am going to go. Have to get the parents permission first.

Thats really all that has happened this week. So looking forward to Saturday, Siobhan's soccer teams last game. See how they do.

Right now we are in the lobby waiting for Ximena and family to meet us for some breakfast. Its our last day and I think we are just going to eat, maybe swim a little and then go. Siobhan has a game tonight at 6:30 so I think we are going to try to make that. She also has one tomorrow night. Her season is almost over.

Right now we just finished breakfast and I am out on the balcony/porch where Siobhan and Ximena are playing soccer with a Hello Kitty beach ball. They are so cute together and they have alot of fun even though they don't understand each other. Its cute. I am so full right now. I just ate a big bowl of fruit and I am pretty full. I dont want to come home but mom has to work tomorrow and I am going to have to register for school soon. I just keep looking at the beach and its so beautiful. I could look at it all day unlike Huntington Beach which has those big oil rigs out on it. There are also some big old pelicans here. A bunch and they are so big. They fly over and I didn't know that they were so big. They are cool though when they fly into the water.

Today we went to Rosarito and did some shopping there. I got some stuff to sell when I get back to Cali and hopefully will make some money off of them and if not they will either make good christmas presents or look good in my room lol. I also go this new necklace. pic above....love it! Only 1.95 too! Right now I am by the pool. My little brother and sister are still swimming. Siobhan hasnt gotten out yet only to go to the bathroom and Diego has taken breaks. They have been in thier for like 3 hours I think. I am a little hungry right now. and i really want to buy some chile covered mango slices down at the cnter but i spent all my money in ROsartio today. I might ask my dad if I can borrow a couple bucks. My computer is dying so I am going to have to go charge it. i might go to the lobby later to hang out.

Today we arrived in Mexico...finally! At last we have finally made it and guess what we had for lunch/dinner? LOBSTER! It was so good. I ate about 4 of them and I was about to burst. We met up with Ximena and her family. The new baby was here too, andrea, she is so cute. They came to the hotel with us and they went swimming with the kids for a while. I did too for a while but it was pretty cold so I worked on my tan for a bit. Bradley and I went to do a little shopping in the lobster village and I got two pictures (Bob Marley and Frida Kahlo).

We haven't been in a long time and I am looking forward to the smell of the fishy air (which some people find nasty, but I like it) and of course the food! I am looking for necklace, rings (of course) and maybe some earrings. I am also going to look for a big bag (big enough for my school books too).

I am pretty mad right now. I went for a long run a while ago and I ran to the park around the back part 2 times then sprinted the length of the field 3 times and then jogged back. Then my neck starts itching like crazy and what do I get? HIVES!! All over my neck and arms and my eyes are swollen. Ahh!! I feel like I am dying for real. Never again will I do that run. Ever!

So first week of practice is done. My coach was really impressed I came lol. I went Monday because it was the first day and I ran tons! I was pretty sore on Tuesday. Then Tuesday I went did some long jump, sprints and went over one hurdle and my hips were hurting! I plan to miss next week because of Mexico trip this week...so happy about that! Then the next week I think I am going to go Wednesday and Thursdays now so I can get distance in on Wednesdays and sprints Thursday. I want to be able to just stay at home Monday and Tuesday instead of going out and killing myself.

Going to go and watch Hollyoaks now. I am catching in on my episodes. :) best show

my class is officially over. We had our last day this week and now I have no class except track practice. Well last night went to the galaxy game. They lost. The referee was totally on DC's side. The firework show was great as always.

We are leaving to Mexico in a week and I am so excited! I actually have to keep up on my workouts though because right now I am in pretty good shape for off season and after this week of doing school workouts I should be in pretty good shape. This week I am going Monday because it is first day of practice and I am doing a track workout. I found out that our warm up is now 1.8 miles. We used to do that run for a workout and now it is our warm up and cool down. That doesn't include what it seems like is an hours worth of drills, but oh well I guess thats what you have to do for your sport. Then Thursday I am going in the morning for the long distance workout.

Hopefully somewhere between Monday and Friday Portia and I will go on another beach trip. I really want to go to the beach and its been good weather so far.

My speech class is almost over. This is our last week and it is kind of sad. I really like this class and the professor and everything, but it has to end so I am kind of happy. I really only get a couple of days off before practice officially begins. It starts next Monday. I want to know who is going to be captain.

Well I am pretty excited about MEXICO! In a couple of weeks. We have not been for what seems like forever and I miss it. Tacos...tortas...lobster...tortillas and of course...the shopping! I need to restock on my jewelry. :) lol

So need to recheck my last speech for tomorrow and then we just have our final and then we are done!

Summer school so far...

has been awesome! I love my speech class its the best class ever! Its better than my anthro classes any day! :) lol but I am doing really well and my speaking in front of crowds has improved a lot. I have a speech tomorrow about how I am for stem cell research. Its going to be good. WE have our last speech next week then the week after we are done. Its going to be sad. I really like that class and the students in it. We have bonded a lot. Maybe because we are together 3 hours a day 4 times a week. lol

SO my class is almost over and that means track is almost here. We start on the 7th and I am looking forward to it because I am excited about starting training for the heptathlon. :) eeeehh I am so happy I finally get to do it!

I did not get into the environmental science course. Even though there were seats he said he was too full. THen I went to a pilates class and that was full. I am going to try to get into yoga tomorrow, but it was pretty full also. I guess I am going to have to wait until my anthro class I want to take.

So far not good experiences with summer school. Not impressed.

I am deciding to run for Athletic Commissioner of our school. I mean I might as well. I go to sporting events and I might as well be publicizing the teams and at least getting something out of going to the games other than for entertainment. The only thing I would have to go to almost all of the games...really just the home ones, but that could end up being alot. I still want it though.

so far has been great. I started my Speech class last week and already had a speech today on the word megalomania and I got an A. I am working on my informative speech right now. I am doing it on Scott McClellans book about Bush and the White House. Its actually really interesting. I am going to try to petition an Earth Science Biology class tomorrow. Its pretty interesting. Since my mom took the liberty of planning the summer without me, even though my classes end early July, I am deciding whether to take an Anthro class offered this summer in July or not. I have not decided yet what I am going to do. I really want to take it though so I might do it. It will also let me not kill myself this fall and spring trying to fit all my classes in so I can transfer.

So yesterday Portia and I took a road trip to the beach and we had so much fun! We got sunburnt on our backs because we didn't bring sunscreen. Our fault but now we know. :) lol We might have a bonfire next friday with a couple friends at Huntington Beach. We are going to go early to surf then we are going to stake out our spot. Hopefully her mom will let her go.

Well I'm going to go to bed because I could not wake up this morning for anything in the world.
